How To Charge A Camera With Usb

Solution

Charge the battery pack past using the supplied battery pack with an optional Meaty Ability Adapter CA-DC30/CA-DC30E and Interface Cable IFC-600PCU.


  • Procedures for using a USB cable to charge the included battery are explained beneath.

1. Slide the switch and open up the cover .


two. Insert the battery.


three. Lower the cover and hold it down as y'all slide the switch, until it clicks into the closed position .


4. With the camera turned off, open up the cover . Hold the smaller plug of the interface cable (sold separately) facing as shown and insert the plug fully into the camera terminal .


five. Insert the larger plug of the interface cable into the compact power adapter.


6-A. CA-DC30 : Flip out the plug and plug the compact ability adapter into a power outlet .

  • Please proceed to footstep 7.

6-B. CA-DC30E : Plug the power cord into the compact power adapter, then plug the other end into a ability outlet.


7. Charging begins and the USB accuse lamp lights up.

  • The lamp turns off when charging finishes.

eight. Remove the meaty power adapter from the power outlet and the interface cable from the camera.

IMPORTANT

  • To protect the battery pack and keep information technology in optimal status, practise not charge it continuously for more than 24 hours.
  • When charging some other battery pack, always disconnect the interface cable from the camera before replacing the bombardment pack for charging.

Note

  • For details on charging time and the number of shots andrecording time possible with a fully charged battery pack, please refer to [Estimated number of shots / recording time and playback time per bombardment (PowerShot SX730 HS)].
  • You can view images even while the battery is charging, by turning the camera on and entering Playback style. Even so, you cannot shoot while the battery is charging.
  • If the USB charge lamp is not lit, reconnect the interface cable.
  • Charged battery packs gradually lose their charge, even when they are not used. Charge the battery pack on (or immediately before) the twenty-four hours of apply.
  • The charger can be used in areas with 100 – 240 V Air conditioning ability (50/sixty Hz). For power outlets in a different format, use a commercially available adapter for the plug. Never utilize an electrical transformer designed for traveling, which may harm the bombardment pack.


  • Using a Computer to Charge the Battery

You can also charge the bombardment pack by inserting the larger plug of the interface cable into a computer's USB terminal in stride 5. For details nearly USB connections on the computer, refer to the computer user manual.

We recommend using Interface Cable IFC-600PCU (sold separately).


  • Charging now begins, and the indicator on the dorsum of the camera blinks in dark-green. Charging will be finished in most iv hours.
  • Even so, charging may take longer if you import images on the photographic camera to the estimator, equally described in "Saving Images to a Computer".
  • The indicator continues to glimmer in green even after charging is finished, as long as the camera is connected to the computer.

IMPORTANT

  • Charging stops and the indicator goes off if, after you begin charging as described above, yous press the ability button to turn the camera off.
  • With some computers, battery charging may crave the memory card to be in the camera. Insert the retentiveness card in the photographic camera earlier connecting the cablevision to the computer's USB port.
